Things have seemed pretty stagnant so far, and compared to the first book in the series, it’s taking me way longer to finish. I’m attached to the characters however, and that’s what has been keeping me going. There’s plenty of hooks as well, and with roughly 300 pages to go I’m hoping things pick up soon. I’m curious as to what the ‘well of ascension’ even is, we haven’t even gotten there yet!
