If these events are considered major deviations from the original timeline, then what the heck is the original timeline?? This all happened in the first book of the trilogy…Unless this is just a rewrite, you’d think how the trilogy started would be the original timeline…?

I’m enjoying this much more than the original trilogy — better written and more rounded out. However, I do think the context of the original trilogy helps with what’s going on, even though it’s a similar timeline.
