I'm all for slow burn, but the pace of this one is glacial. Things seem to be picking up a bit now, but wow is it slow. Probably too slow considering how much plot there is left. I think this qualifies as a pacing problem.

If you had asked me 40% ago if I wpuld read the next book, I'd havs said no. The ending of this one got pretty compelling though. I can't decide qhether this book was brilliant or totally flawed.
