Sooo, I know I’m at the very beginnings of this book but I got The Last Unicorn vibes from this immediately… aaaaand it turns out so did other readers on GRs (¬ in a good way). So I’m a bit concerned, but will continue to read, if not finish it.
Other than the similarities (I haven’t read or watched TLU in a loooong time so can’t vouch to whether it’s *too* similar)

The Unicorn’s vocabulary/use of language is not consistent and it bothers me. Hasn’t she been isolated for centuries?? She talks a bit too modern and casual at times
