I love this I love this I love this. The STORYS. The connections that keep appearing again and again are just so exciting! I love how it centers these personal objects as the connections between past and present so much, because its such a graspable idea of developing history, and makes me think about way older historical objects that must’ve been passed down centurys in the same way. -

omg this book is setting me UP. This first chapter felt so dark-academia ish (so much so that I went back to check the genre for a sec🥸)(That is so not a bad thing though) but DAMN OK I CAN FEEL THE VIBES NOW
