I always have trouble determining whether an author is sexist or simply using rhetoric to show sexism within the story, but this author made it really easy for me when he explicitly said in his preface that “real” women are subservient to men(no attempt to hide it within the play, like at least attempt subtlety! smh).

He did pretty accurately predict the future of theatre though so, credit where credit is due
