“Motherhood has always been very porous”. This book is such a beautiful exploration of motherhood and the dynamic nature of female connections/relationships. While not at all my usual read, I cannot tear myself away. I love that Guandalupe has not shied away from all the mess that comes with loving someone, and the loss (or transformation) of oneself that comes with it.
