• not surprised by sen. Hennington’s actions. typical politician. using the black plight for your gain and discarding black ppl when they are no longer deemed beneficial. (evident with carter summer field)
• i love freeman’s character. so far, he seems unapologetically black, unapologetically him. but i do wonder if we will get to dive into his mental as the book goes on.

I feel like because freeman has to put on so many covers, we may never see the real him. His interactions with the Cobras shocked me. Ig i didn’t take into account Dan’s actual intentions lol.
