Just finished the autobiographical section of the Confessions, now it’s time for the philosophical section.
The autobiographical section was absolutely fantastic and edifying. It shows how God calls people to Him, and a journey that I found relatable, as I would imagine others did as well otherwise it wouldn’t be such a widely regarded book.
Let’s hope I can understand the philosophical section!

I feel like this book either makes me think “that’s so profound/intriguing/edifying etc” or “what the heck did he just say” and there’s no inbetween
