I take back everything I said, this book is still horrifying as it was in Chapter 1. The game reserve, hunting humans for sport, Urlet who I can’t help but imagine as Alucard from Castlevania, Guerrero Iraola being the worst character to appear so far. This is WILD

Growing on me in a really weird way. The shock value wore off and I am much more invested in the life of Marcos than I did when I started reading. There’s something about his humanity being so prominent in an inhumane world, great juxtaposition.
His relationship with the female FGP “head” — or Jasmine — really does spark a moral debate that I’ll get into more later.
