ok the random csa?? & she died like 2 pages after so was that backstory even necessary? they could’ve just left it at “i’m jealous of Jeanne bc she was praised & i wasn’t.” but ok. also i didn’t like the conflict resolution. the Demon King just leaves? ok. Robbins delivers a fatal blow to his mom? so out of character. Jeanne & Mew blow up? bc magic? ok. the afterlife is some weird high school au? ok…

i would’ve liked this series more if it focused on Jeanne & Mew. showing their adventures & experiences in the woods & with side characters staying side characters. the manga series was too short to try to divide the focus as evenly as the author did. it didn’t work well imo. also i remembered that threat of sa was alluded to in vol 3 or 4. weird. anyway
