Not sure I'm going to get through this one. Waaaaaay too many characters introduced in the first 9 chapters - Several of whom I got attached to. This was not an easy book to get into, but these specific characters helped that. The PI is way more interesting in the first chapter, but I suspect he'll grow over the coming (gulp) 288 pages.
