A slow burn that nearly lost me, but redeemed an extra star in the final stretch.
This book has sooooo many themes, but the pacing was painfully slow for me. Nearly DNF’d and sadly skim read lots of this, but the last 10% picked up and saved it slightly. Feels harsh considering the other reviews, and I think I can see why, it just didn’t quite land for me personally.
