So part two finished… i’m in pain.
TARIQ MY BELOVED, honestly him and Babi are the only men I have liked at all in this book. In a happy world Tariq and Laila are somewhere by the sea happy 😣😣😣

IT WAS GOING SO WELL AT THE END OF PART TWO IM SO FRICKING UPSET. We was so close to leaving sosososo close. IM SO UTTERLY UPSET

onto part two which i didn’t expect a pov change but I WILL SAY. After finishing part one, ALLLLL THE MFS deserve a fate worse than death. Mariam is truly a strong woman and the way she keeps her head up is truly inspiring.

FAVE MOMENT FROM PART ONE??? probably when she’s leaving and she tells Jalil to never see her again. That man deserves to go to hell
