guys just reached the confession scene and i have to be frank, pride and prejudice (2005) did it so much better...like this was more of them arguing than anything and in a room, where is the greenery, the rain, darcy saying "i am crushed by the weight of how much i fuck with you" DPMOOOO

tough out here for an english major trying to prove her worth by reading classics lorddd

tough getting through this. i think jane austen is a fascinating writer, and i'm sure, lord rest her soul, she doesn't need my approval of her writing abilities, but the dialogue is soooo witty, almost too witty that i often have to re-read lines to understand it. i think being such a big pride and prejudice movie adaption fan has helped me in understanding the book more...what does that say about me though...
