Allegory in Mitchell L. Chase understanding would probably be what we meant by finding parallels in the Bible.

so far so good at chapter 9, though I will probably disagree typology interpretation of OT as exegetical. I'm more comfortable to label it as a BT rather than exegetical type of interpretation.
