I get why the real shen qingqiu is the way he is, but from my perspective he still deserved the ending he got bcs he could’ve changed so much during his story even a little would have been enough to change his faith but in the end he was still not wanting to admit wrongdoings, so I say he brought it on himself 🤷🏻‍♀️
