Jan The Gift of the Magi has always been my favorite

Elena Hebson My favorites are Roads of Destiny, The Last Leaf, and The Passing of Black Eagle. His stories are a lot of fun, though occasionally unexpectedly tragic, and he is a master of impactful plot twists in short amounts of words!

That’s what I’ve heard (especially re: the plot twists), hence why I have this goal this year—I haven’t read any of his yet, but I suspect I’ll love them! Thank you so much! Can’t wait to dive in.

Noted down on my list! Thank you! Sounds like an interesting one.

Sarah Brazytis I concur on 'The Cop and the Anthem'. 'The Last Leaf' is good, but be prepared that it is very sad!

Sarah Brazytis Oh! Oh! 'The Ransom of Red Chief'! You will chuckle, then laugh, then quote it the rest of your life! "Do you know who my favorite Bible character is?...King Herod."

Sarah Brazytis Oh, and 'After Twenty Years'. Talk about fabulous twists!
