Hell of an entrance. Not just for all the burning innocents, but for how unexpected it was. Narratively way too early, and with zero build-up. Imagine if Voldemort had just apparated into Weasley home midway through Book 6 and started throwing killing curses all around.

Done poorly, it could ruin a story. But it was obviously done on purpose and to a great effect.

I'm greatly enjoying this fight. One combatant dominates it physically, the other spiritually. That one smile - from one that almost never smiles - basically single-handedly counters everything a demiurge's thrown her way.

Good stuff.

10 Vigilant Gaze had only a couple pages of introduction, and a few more since he got introduced, and already he's one of my favourite characters.

I like how she won her first fight. Awesome and hilarious, a great Brick Joke.

Allison has never looked more attractive. All the scars and bleached hair aside, her newfound confidence more than pulls through.
