I am very surprised to see that I abandoned this book. I usually read most books about Jack Reacher in a couple of days. There is one super bad one, however. Maybe this is it but I can't remember.

I am so sorry as I cannot remember. I was very surprised to see only 2 stars as I normally give his books 5 stars. There was one that threatened abuse of a child which was too horrible but I don't think this was it as I believe it was a later one. I also give books only 2 stars if they are too gory. It is awful getting old and not being able to remember!

You are perfectly your age 🤩. Am roughly 2/3 done, and so far, no child characters. If I ever figure out which book you might mean, I'll let you know 😘😘😘

Thanks! It was a terrible book near the end of the series but if I recall correctly written by Lee Child and not his helper. A child was threatened with sexual abuse and it bothered me too much.

It may be that Blue Moon is the Jack Reacher book that I could not stand. C. J. Box also wrote a horrible Blue Moon! My favorite Jack Reacher story is Echo Burning.
