I don't know how J.K. Rowling does it but it seems everything she writes is amazingly easy to read while still being both a good story and an interesting one. It's so easy to imagine the little village of Pagford and all its various players. Really glad I decided to hold off on reading this until now; it's a good read so far and I'd hate to think I'd been influenced out thinking so by the initial backlash.

It's slow going reading this. I keep reading a bit and then putting it down. Which isn't to say that it's a bad read, it's just one of those reads where, when you read it, you're into it, and when you're not, you're not.
