I'll say it: I wasn't enjoying this one at all. Just boring and confusing and a tad vexing. Then, at the halfway mark, there was a time jump and things just got INTERESTING. I am super invested in this now.

I'll be honest: I haven't the faintest idea about what's going on in this book, but the fault there lies with me-- my mild ADHD is currently keeping me from enjoying audiobooks. So, I think I will have to find a chapter summary online, read up to where I currently am, then start up the audiobook again until I can find a physical copy.
