idk maybe im wrong for this but i hate when fantasy books start with two/three chapters of normal world things IM BORED. I WANT FANTASY MAGIC AND FANTASY WORLDS AND FANTASY POLITICS i just never ever care abt what a character's "before" looks like when i dont know them yet 🤷‍♀️
