Read too little, I have three days remaining.
We got our summer reading from school (A Thousand Splendid Suns along with Sinuhe the Egyptian) and I am not too pleased.
Despite that, I really am liking this book. It has some nice emotions in it, and it knows how to utilize them to it's benefits.
I say it's bloody lovely.

I feel like I commited a CRIME by reading 19 pages today.
I got home at 14, spent half an hour outside, was on my phone for two hours, read a little, ate, went to the store, was on my phone, read a bit. And now I'll shower.
I need to read more tomorrow. And I need to put a permanent screentime on my phone (not counting emergencies.)
But anyway, snapshots of Giselle and Wallace. Nothing spicy yet. I like this.

This Goodreads version of this boon has too many pages. I don't like this inconsistency.
Anyway.
Giselle fails to get married for the twentieth time.
I'm sure she's lovely, (she's really plain), but things are just not working out for her.
Then her brother brings home Wallace (unmoanable name) who we just met at the end of the prologue!
The writing is simple and easy to read. Good, bcs my brain is fried rn.

I do not have hopes towering to the sky. I have hopes of being entertained before I need to do my summer reading for HL Finnish...
