I hate to say it, but I’ve given up halfway through. This book is incomprehensibly bad.

I can’t tell whether it’s the uninspired narration, or whether The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair was a fluke.

Given how little I enjoyed The Disappearance of Stephanie Mailer, I’m leaning towards the latter.

Sad to say I won’t be picking up anything else Dicker writes.
