Oh wow, wow, wow, wow. At first Zerif was just a nobody, but damn did he become a threat in this book. Like, wow, his method of making the man bring out his spirit animal is both so cruel and genius. Just like he said, most are willing to sacrifice themselves for their cause, but few would like to sacrifice others for it. Just wow. The amount of aura farming he did in this last chapter is insane. Bravo

Chapter 16 - 04:39:00 - Something I've noticed. If you're an adult in Spirit Animals, good luck surviving.

Chapter 16 - 04:33:23 - You heard of the green cloaks. Now we give you the red cloaks.

Chapter 16 - 04:18:00 - So the parasites are effectively zombies-lite.

Chapter 8: 02:12:16 - With the Captain infected by the worm, and it splitting in two when cut, I wondered. What if you simply amputated the limb, instead of trying to cut the worm itself? Especially in the beginning stages, I think that would be possible since the worm wouldn't be as attached to the body. Just food for thought. Losing an arm seems much better than losing oneself.

Chapter 6 - 01:24:24 - Connor really battling it through. And Zanta? (that's how you spell it?) finally knows that Connor is infected. Also, I'm still curious about the red-hooded fella.

Man, it's good to be back. My first book of 2025. I've been so busy with basic training, and now I'm at AIT where I can finally listen to my audiobooks again.
