Definitely gotta throw all your morals away for this book, the first scene really set the tone for real. The start of the book reminds me of the “Lord Series by Angel Lawson” which I loveeee. Carter definitely has mommy issues but I’m still a little confused on why he did what he did to Ellis it doesn’t make sense, but I guess time will tell !
