i fear this book is not for me. where is the Emily Henry magic?? why does it feel so half-baked like Margaret’s story isn’t really fascinating to me, the romance isn’t really convincing, and if this wasn’t EH i would’ve stopped by now UGH

anyway this is all intriguing to learn about Margaret but i wanna more juicy stuff and i want to believe in this romance between Alice and Hayden bc i’m pretty sure their the only Emily Henry protagonists that are complete strangers to each other (aside from Wyn and Harriet but they don’t count bc they had mutual friends)
