So like, I wasn’t expecting this to be super good or anything, and it’s definitely very dated, but I really needed to read this all in one go. Now that I don’t have that same desire to read this carrying the momentum, I’m just like… are we done yet? I suppose there’s no more pining anymore either since they now both know they like each other, do that’s part of it, lol.

Finally can read this, thanks to getting hoopla. I dig the premise and am so invested in the angst of the situation and am feeling it all… but it just wasn’t developed enough to warrant the feelings being so serious, lol. I do not buy that they have gotten this attached to each other, even if I’m letting myself completely go along with it. But whatever, I’m enjoying it and really flew through it.

Seriously, it’s “wish him gone” and not “wish my friend back to himself”. Hate it.
I’m fully expecting that’s the wish that’s going to be made (the latter), assuming there won’t be some other non-wish solution, but it’s like the author is trying to throw us off, but it’s not executed well (bc it’s making me disgusted, lol).
Oh, you mean my comments weren’t getting cut off? Okay then.
If you’re not going to focus on trying to urge your friend to try to fight it, then you should know what your decision needs to be and make sure you have one last good moment with Jinn and say your goodbyes. Instead we get all this drama that isn’t even focusing on the right thing here. 😠
