Ok so I'm not sure if I like this book or not yet. The writing style is...different than what I'm used to. It's almost like I'm reading a journal or a diary. Like

Something nagged at me, something I couldn’t quite put my finger on. It was a thing that I would stupidly fail to put my finger on until it was too late.

This isn't foreshadowing right?
