Holy cow. What a book. If I had to describe it in one phrase to someone, I would describe it as Slumdog Millionaire for adults. It doesn't hold back in its sharp writing and observations of the rich vs poor dichotomy in India, and delves into the darkness of political and moral corruption, greed, sexual exploitation, filth and chaotic rapid urbanization, and the influence of external powers on India.
