I loved reading this book; Max is so funny, the history is fascinating, and the recipes are beautifully displayed and clearly explained. I love watching Max Miller’s YouTube channel. My biggest complaints are that 1) a select few of the historical recipes don’t have photos, which is difficult if you don’t know what they should look like, 2) I regret that Max Miller is not available and dating me.
