Lilly of the Library 📖🌿 ✨Dual POV
✨Grief Themes
✨Self Discovery
✨Queer Romance

While on a flight with her husband, Lacey Johnson is questioning everything. Whether the sacrifices in her marriage were worth making, whether she was happy in the life she was living, and whether the life she lived was the one she would've chosen for herself. As she's pondering this her husband unexpectedly lands himself in a coma and is hospitalized which turns everything upside down. While caring for him in the hospital, Lacey makes an unexpected connection with a passing stranger named Quinn and her connection with her surprises her when it comes to feel like more than a friendship. What she doesn't know is that Quinn has a somewhat scandalous past with Lacey's hospitalized husband. Will this jeopardize their connection?

This is told in Dual pov perspective. While the premise of this sounded interesting, it was just ok for me. Overall I think that the connection between Lacey and Quinn was a bit too rushed for me to feel connected to the story or the characters. Perhaps the main focus was supposed to be Lacey's self discovery and the choices she was grappling with while her husband was hospitalized but there was not enough emphasis and depth on the elements that would invest me personally. I didn't really like Quinn's character so that didn't help. If you're into books that touch on grief, self discovery, then this book may be for you.
