khawaf as a “character” is such an interesting approach to depict PTSD in a physical form. because if i say that i hate “him,” am i also saying that i hate salama too? to what degree will i be able to blame “him” for the choices salama makes eventually, or can i blame “him” at all? there’s so much to dissect with this element in the story and i’m so excited (terrified) to see how it plays out.
