The book is dragging for me. I am not liking Catherine, she has yet redeemed herself to me.
She has a very narrow perspective on poverty and the people who live in it. I’m assuming this was suppose to be a slow burn, but there has yet to be an event that has happened that seems significant to the plot.
I hate to say that, but it’s boring so far. I could stop the book now and not wonder how it ends.
