Story's pretty entertaining so far! I'm a little surprised that Psyche isn't here to be chosen as Eros' partner (who apparently is not related to Ares or Aphrodite in this saga), and that he chose Pheme. And Apollo chooses Cassandra (who was an oracle in original myth). Most of the other groomsmen choosing their partners make sense though. But Poseidon declares a competition for his partner. In which Medusa may win.

It's been years since I've read any books in this series, but if the prologue is making me laugh right away and the first chapter makes me think a little, I think I'll be in for a good time!
