Okay turns out this book was just a bit slow to begin with but now? The plot is so good, the fantasy makes sense (as much one can) and even the romance is working now (the age gap before was kinda large before but with a bit of time travel it works lol). Some of the twists have not been fully explained...but maybe they will be...

I'm liking the concept and the main characters are interesting, but the writing is a little plain?boring? And sometimes it's overly graphic then other times it's very simple...hopefully it gets going a bit more
