Okay Tim, you've reeled me back in with an entire chapter about taxidermied birds.

This book is deeply frustrating. It would be great if Tim focused on what he's talking about instead of his constant tangents. And while his prose is lovely, sometimes he's trying so hard to be poetic that his writing is quite literally incomprehensible. I really want to love this. 😭

I'm getting a bit frustrated with this. His writing is dense and complex for the sake of it and there's no real sense in how he connects his points. I'll keep at it though.
