between 3.5 and 4. leaning 4. i enjoyed this book the most so far, but it has flaws. particularly with valen and elise’s relationship, the logistics with war and combat is pretty unrealistic (i may just be overthinking that), and the coronation scene…ok…sure. LMFAO
