I’ve finished Part 1 and this book has already touched parts of me I didn’t expect. I grew up in an abusive home like Shannon, the way she describes the fear of messing up — it felt like reading my own memories. It’s beautifully written, detailed, and raw. I’m glad it’s a long book because nothing feels rushed. It’s emotional, triggering at times, but also healing in a way I didn’t know I needed.
