Pete > Status Update

I've finished part one of this book originally published as The Amphibians. It was dated and tedious with few redeeming qualities. Reads a bit like The Time Machine and The Night Land. Unlike those books, this one seems pointless even though there are discussions of society, laws, and freedom.
