Can’t wait to see how this whole story concludes! Whether they’ll escape their fate or not.

Wanting to know more about the velvets and their role in the under city. Getting closer to the end of the book now, hoping that things will start making a little more sense soon.

Bit sad about the Marquis, but he could be a bit deceitful so not hugely saddened. Just want to know more about the angel and its reasoning.

I don’t think I have read a book that has so successfully made me question what the hell is going on. Gaiman manages to write in a way that you feel just as confused as Richard, honestly truly amazing. And the sudden plot twists are crazy! The last three have been insane and so out of left field that I would never have guessed. Honestly, I love this book!

If it weren’t for the eye strain I would keep reading on. Just got to chapter 12 and I don’t know how to process what’s just happened. I need to know what’s going to happen to Richard. I have a rough idea from the foreshadowing in his dreams and the reasoning why Hunter is joining them on the journey. But I think he’ll make it, but I also wouldn’t put it past Gaiman to kill off a character.

Unfortunately falling asleep but wanting to keep reading on. I wasn’t expecting the little moment between Door and Richard. Presuming that it was just a drunk fluke but we shall see. Curious to what is going to happen the Marquis now that evil brothers now have him.

Still can’t put the book down! Curious to see if Jessica will ever remember Richard. However, I can’t lie, I really don’t like her. She is very self centred and kind of rude as a character and Richard could probably do a bit better than a woman who just wants to change him entirely.

Just gotten to chapter 8. Still struggling to put the book down with the number of quirky characters being added and strange scenes, it’s hard to want to stop altogether. I keep finding myself wanting to know more about who this mysterious character hunting door and her family is and why. The earl kind of creeped me out though, I can’t lie.

Almost towards the end of chapter 5 and omg! I can’t put the book down. The only reason I do is because my eyes hurt from reading so late and for so long! It’s truely amazing, gaiman paints such a vivid story, atmosphere and character description to the point where it feels like you are a part of Door and her crew.

Learning a bit more about door’s history and what Mr Croup and Vandemire are up to. It’s getting a lot darker and the description of certain scenes is becoming more vulgar and vivid. Extremely well written, I am imagining every last detail!
