okay yep picking this one back up now that i have my reading spark back

oops I’m updating the % as per my kobo coz I think it’s more accurate than pages :-)

but yeah DNF coz I think I need to start this series fresh. I’m just too excited to read other books and because of that, reading this has become a chore.

I’m unsure why, but this book is putting me in such a slump??? Maybe I’m not in the right headspace for it right now (seeing as I’m expecting the red rising omnibus release at the end of this month, and Alchemised just came out… and I also want to read the knight and the moth lol)

SO I’m going to DNF - to be continued from the start again when I’m ready :-)

i put this book down for some time because i was feeling a bit of readers burnout, but i picked it back up on my train trip home and i’m engrossed again.
HOWEVER, unless it ends really fkn good and i just need to know what happens next, i’m thinking of taking a break from this trilogy and read something new for a bit.
