The introduction had some interesting exposition and analysis of the material conditions of the Restoration/Primo era and how they led to later conflicts under the Second Republic, although it's slightly confusing at times the way Graham consistently misuses some terminology (as she uses them, "republican" == non-socialist, state-first republicans; "socialist" == PSOE/UGT socdem; "communist" == PCE-aligned)
