Anthony Santiago Alright. Board notes from Norwegian elites (intended to be kept secret and destroyed) quite decisively reframe any overtures to unity presented in the Storting. In my view, this research is compelling and entirely invalidates the thesis of Fasting and Sørensen, that the reforms of the interbellum years were the product of some inherently collaborative culture. To believe such a claim, we would have to ignore the years of repression, surveillance, and parliamentary intransigence that preceded the sacrifices of the benevolent NAF.
