I can't select the version I'm listening to, but it's the BBC one. It's...odd. There is a narrator, who id frequently interrupted by Bilbo himself. I'm enjoying it, but there are a few weird things:
Pronouncing names, Gandalf is Gan-DAAAAALF, Thorin is Turrin, and the weirdest Gollum is Ga-Loom.
Also, anytime an animal is talking, wolves, eagles, spiders, it is a bunch of loud screeching. It's terrible.
I'm 60% done.
