Meags Bahaha! I’m pretty sure my buddy read partner for this (*A Reader Obsessed*) had the exact same quarrel. Hopefully the story wins you over, despite the name. 😝

Oh, no! For me, the opposite. I meant one bonus star. I love the name Hamish!

Sara Still angry the husband didn't "let me" name our son Hamish. We settled for Connor Iain but Hamish was my dream name.

If you’d married me like you should have we’d have TWO sons named Hamish! Editing to add our daughter, Ophelia, who hates us so much and has learned German instead of French just to spite me.

There used to be a cutesy cop show on BBC - Hamish Macbeth. Best name ever!

Meags Omg! I used to watch that with my nan!! Haven’t thought about that show in YEARS. I much have been only 12 or so. Good old Constable Hamish Macbeth. British shows were the best in the nineties.

As for the name Hamish, it’s not uncommon here in Australia so I wasn’t taken aback by it like some. I’ll take it over the Chads and Trips and Dexs of the book world ANYDAY.

Trip! My Lord. I know somewhere there is a book about a Trip and a Xander and their undying love.
