added a status update
Hi GR friends, I don't think I can post a photo on the general update. Today I passed by Marcel Proust's home where he wrote most of his La Recherche and uploaded a pic to my GR photos in case you want to see it (I'm there too :-)).

Fionnuala wrote: "Wonderful. Enjoy your visit, Vesna."Thank you, Fionnuala. I had no idea that I would be staying in the area that is practically the Proustland with the nearby streets and houses where he lived or frequented, often also featured in his La Recherche. (The one on the photo is the farthest away though.) So for me, these 10 days in Paris = 10 days in the literary Heaven. :-)
I did a pilgrimage to the three addresses back in 2013, Vesna, the year I read the seven books. I remember someone let is into the courtyard of one of them, I think it was the one on rue de Courcelles. Good memories!Enjoy your last evening!
Oh, I missed to see that courtyard, Fionnuala. It's on 9 Boulevard Malesherbes where he grew up and lived until 1900 but I saw the bldg from the outside. Rue de Courcelles is nearby to the place where I stayed, he lived at 45 for a few years (before moving to Bd Haussmann) and I can see why he loved it there. You covered all three major residences of his life on your pilgrimage, Fionnuala!
