Well, hell. Flesh hates the only decent non-animated holiday movie ever made. I just can't understand people who don't love "A Christmas Story" as much as I do.

Hmmmm...something about Flesh's irritation at Colby not wanting to be "out" doesn't sit well with me. I guess if it were me I'd think he shouldn't have any say in it since they aren't a committed couple. BUT - they are. They just don't have a typical relationship. I like it when a book makes me think about my own boundaries and expectations...

Wow, a mature DTR conversation with honest expectations and concerns. I'm not even mad at Flesh's comment about non-monogamy; that's a viable relationship status for a lot of people and it wasn't hypocritical since he didn't expect it in return. Glad "the rules" will stay in effect; if I were Colby I'd just worry whether he could be more successful at sticking to them with potential tricks.

Soooo, I guess it wasn't him then. Ooops.

Oh, okay. So the more we learn about Flesh's past the more I understand his character...

At first I was thinking that Gabe might have something to do with the murder but now I can't decide if the perp is the asshole (closeted?) cop or Daddy Joe's kid.

Oh fuck yeah...I'm a whore for interracial romance stories.

I'm kinda digging how unapologetic Flesh is about what he likes when it comes to sex. Kind of an asshole, aggressive, dominant dude...but a total butt slut bottom. Way to invert that trope - I approve.

Okay, wow. There's a whole lotta sexin' here; I just checked the book summary and none of it's even been with the actual love interest yet! Considering the narrator MC, that's probably par for the course but jeez!

Aaaaaaand, of course the Bible-thumping preacher spouting hate-filled sermons on the evils of homosexuality is a closet case. *eyeroll*
