Jayson
Jayson is finished

Notes:
(1) Ultimately, this was more about getting a message across than telling a compelling story.
- Especially the final few issues where building and cultivating drama seemed not a priority.
(2) If you're going to have an issue based around action scenes, you've got to at least make it look cool.
- What we have here is the equivalent of smashing action figures together.

Jayson’s Previous Updates

Jayson
Jayson is 50% done

Notes:
(1) Well this series went downhill fast! Aside from the mother needing medicine, there's no tension.
- Things are too fast, too easy and there's no effort to make anything seem special.
(2) The series shift reminds me of when Sophie Campbell took over "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."
- There too, it left the city, became all about an exile animal ghetto, and got soft.

Jayson is starting

Notes:
(1) One of my biggest criticisms of this series is that there aren't many genuine character moments.
- For example, I have a broad understanding of Sung and Eris' relationship, but most of their interaction involves him warning her against getting into trouble.
- As well, the mother seems awfully generic. Her main thing is needing medicine for an undisclosed ailment.
